5 Ways to Help Students Focus on Learning Rather Than Grades

I dreaded report cards when I was younger. When I don't get 100, but a 98, on a college assignment, my reaction is immediate - I am a failure. This is more of a carry over from middle and high school as I was a horrible student. I have trained myself to push that old voice aside, and respond and focus on the feedback/comment from the professor instead of the grade. I really like how this article encourages shifting the focus from the grade to the feedback.

I wanted to have an image with this post, so I googled "report cards from 1960." Apparently, they are considered vintage . . . Here's one from Spanishmoss on Etsy.
